Delhi’s hustle bustle is probably enough reason for all its residents to seek solace in a getaway from the city to rejuvenate the body, mind and soul. Although nothing beats a proper vacation, a small power nap kind of staycation over the weekend is also a good way to relax for a couple of days. Luckily, I recently had a chance to experience a very relaxing, much needed getaway, not so far from the city at the Heritage Village Resort and Spa, Manesar.
Located at a distance of about 45 kms from Delhi, The Heritage Village Resort and Spa is an ideal property that brings you the best of both worlds. International class facilities and a very resounding earthy, Indian vibe make this place a perfect getaway resort for those seeking peace and tranquility the desi way. The first thing that strikes you when you visit the property is its imposing Palace like architecture that is inspired from the states of Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan. The entrance is very humble and much like an Indian bride who showcases her real beauty after the ceremony, the resort also kind of opens up in grandeur and luxury once you are well inside. The resort is spread well over 12 acres of land and has lush green stretches, mohalla like room clusters or KUNJ’s , Spa, Pool, entertainment options, world cuisine restaurants, conference halls, wedding lawns and what not!
This very eye catchy and intriguing face right in the centre of the reception caught my attention and I will always remember it as one of my unique memories from any vacation.
Here is a good look at the reception area which I couldn’t help but capture on my camera-
As we moved from the lobby towards our room, the architecture that unfolded was very eye pleasing at completely Indian. Our suite was in Ganesh Kunj and it was a beautiful room with all the modern amenities. The best thing about the hotel is that it’s an ECO Friendly FACILITY where they recycle water, have used eco friendly bricks and construction techniques, CFL Lamps, Electricity saving key systems, recycled paper and don’t encourage wastage.
The decor is almost sactitous with images and statues of art and Indian gods bringing alive our rich culture heritage.
What’s the point of being a blogger if you don’t shoot at your vacation spot? Here are the two looks I shot at the Heritage Village Resort and Spa-
Overall, I would totally recommend you to check out the place if DESI is how you Vibe.
